Do i have a virus??

since last night i've been getting these popups from something called virus protect pro, saying that i have spyware and trojans and things like that and asking me to dowload some antivirus software. but when i used mcafee to scan my computer, nothing was detected. so do i have a virus and if so would it be safe to download that software?

No, do NOt buy it. Its a scam to take your money and then infect your PC with spyware. Since you didnt name what they wanted you to buy, I suggesttttt scanning your PC with these. Both are free and safe to use.
