most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

avg its the best
among free antivirus soft Avast is best and among paid soft Norton is best.
not norton and not aol, they both screw up your computer. we went to this place to wipe out our whole comp due to viruses, couldnt even use the pc. we have windows defender, lavasoft adware SE personal, and we also have mozilla firefox, which is safer internet use. we also got avast, and for email, mozilla thunderbird. Oh, and spyware blaster. it seems like alot, but not much. get them all, like free or cheap!!! our pc is perfect now!!!
