Do I need to install same antivirus software on 2 wireless-networked computers?

Can I install bitdefender on one computer and Norton on the other enen though the 2 computers are networked each other?

There is no problem with 2 different Antivirus products on 2 different computers. The fact they are connected doesn't matter at all.



(Personally, I'd get rid of the norton)

Yes, you can install different AV programs on them.
Yes and get AVG
You may install different antivirus software on different computers, even though they are on the same network. You should not install multiple antivirus packages on the same computer, they will interfere with each other, and with the proper operation of the PC.
You can have any antivirus in your computers, but NORTON? get rid of it ASAP!
Yes, of course. However, there is one teensy problem: Norton. If you're not prepared to shell out for another decent anti-virus program (such as NOD32 or Kaspersky), then get Avira (http://www.free-av.com/ ) instead.

And don't use AVG.
