never seen a brilliant anything but a star, and no stars in software. avast pro or avg pro are amoung the best a/v, the new nortons i read is ok too.

Any antivirus from a reliable vendor that is properly configured and automatically updating is as ''brilliant'' as the next... but no antivirus software can save a computer from a user with poor browsing and maintenance habits.
